A Work in Progress

Not many people read my blog, but for those who do check in....I'm working on updating in. Thus the mis-matched graphics. It'll get there....just have to find time.

  1. great job! i have some suggestions for the header and the background, if you're interested.

    if you put no color in the background when you go to change fonts and colors, then you shouldn't have the cut-off areas where the colors don't connect.

    and with the header, if you go into the html and find this section:

    /* Header

    #header-wrapper {
    margin:0 auto 10px;
    border:1px solid $bordercolor;

    that width (which on mine is 711, but on most that haven't been messed with is 700) is what's making the picture not fit. Preview some different widths until you find what fits the header you're using.

    Great job on the fonts, though! Woo, isn't that a tough tutorial? but so worth it--i love checking out everyone's new styles!

  2. or you can also go in the header area and re-upload the picture, clicking "shrink to fit" in the process. you have to do it quickly, but that could help.

    last option is taking it into a program again (like picnik) and resizing it to 700 pixels.

  3. love the colors and the fonts!!!

  4. thanks Lauren....I was wondering how to fix that!

  5. Just want you to know I am praying for you.

  6. Lindsey and Jeremy,

  7. Praying for you and Jeremy as you walk this horrible road. I hope you can feel Jesus' arms wrapped around you and that you will know the peace that exceeds our comprehension. May you rest in HIM. So much love coming your way. My heart is breaking for you.
